The first mould is a plaster cover formed by two or more pieces: first of all the base, the bowl, lateral pieces and, if necessary, inside wedges.

All these pieces must join perfectly so as the plaster cast inside does not come out. After casting plaster, any dregs are finished and the mould is ready for drying and cooking tests.
